Cordova High School is ranked 13th out of the 50 public and private high schools in the Sacramento region where students are most likely to earn admission into a University of California school, according to a recent report by the Sacramento Business Journal.

The business publication ranked schools by the percentage of applicants offered admission to a UC school in the fall of 2014. Cordova High’s admission rate was 73.2 percent.

Earlier this year, Cordova High—in addition to Vista del Lago and Folsom High—was recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of the state’s Best High Schools and earned a “bronze” national rating by the publication.
