July is Park and Recreation Month

California Assemblymember Ken Cooley and California Senator Tom Berryhill have joined the Cordova Recreation and Park District (CRPD) Board of Directors in recognizing the importance of parks in our community.
The CRPD Board adopted a resolution joining organizations throughout the nation designating July as Park and Recreation Month and Assemblyman Cooley and Senator Berryhill presented CRPD with a letter and Certificate of Recognition for “excellent continued service” to our residents.
In addition to CRPD’s ongoing summer activities, the district will be celebrating at Party in the Park with free family swim on Friday, July 22 at 5:30 p.m. at Lincoln Village Park and at the grand opening celebration for Cobblestone Park on Wednesday, July 27 at 6:30 p.m.
