RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - On July 27 to 28, Staples of Rancho Cordova will be hosting their Back to School Block Party, a 2-day neighborly event, to help teachers preparing for the new school year. Staples Operations Supervisor Mark Light said, “Every year we invite teachers to stock up on school supplies at discounted rates to make sure they use their limited resources as wisely as possible.” Come join the Boys Scouts, Girls Scouts, Police Department, Fire Department and Folsom Cordova educators at the event.

Everyone in modern life has felt the care and support teachers provide at schools–especially in large city regions; they perform a critical socializing role for the next generations, but teachers’ salaries are generally low for the services they render.

“At Staples we long realized it’s not just business people who come in; it’s also teachers that are coming and spending their own money for their classes,” said Light. “Many times it’s difficult for the school district to get those funds for every class, so individual teachers may choose to go the extra mile to give students a special experience.”

In response to this, Staples will be offering their Classroom Rewards program where teachers can enroll at staples.com/classroomrewards; once enrolled, parents can visit the website, select a teacher and support that teacher throughout the semester when shopping at Staples; and the teacher earns 5 percent every time you shop for school supplies.

Staples will price match any competitor retail or online, so reward your student’s classroom! Staples is located at 2690 Sunrise Blvd, Rancho Cordova, CA
