SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (MPG) - At approximately 8:27 p.m. on Tuesday April 13, 2021, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a call from a multi-residential complex on the 9500 block of Folsom Boulevard in the County of Sacramento.  The caller stated they could hear screaming and a physical disturbance in a neighboring unit.

Deputies responded to the specific residence and found an adult male victim with severe trauma and obviously deceased.  Additional arriving deputies saw a subject of interest leaving the area in close proximity to their arrival, set a perimeter, detained the person without incident and have since booked them into the Sacramento County Main Jail on a single count of homicide.

CSI and the Sacramento County Crime Lab collected evidence, patrol deputies interviewed witnesses and Homicide Detectives are investigating.  There is no further information available at this time.

The identity of the victim in this case will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office after identification and notification of next of kin.
