RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - The new Rancho Cordova Youth Center is opening in the City of Rancho Cordova this November 2022.
The Rancho Cordova Youth Center, or RCYC for short, will provide a welcoming, central and safe environment for year-round youth programs, build relationships with local youth, and show local youth how much the community cares about their success and future in Rancho Cordova.
Help us roll out the red carpet for youth in Rancho Cordova by joining us for a fun and free community celebration on Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 4 PM – 6 PM at 10455 Investment Circle, Rancho Cordova.
“We are proud to open our first youth center in the City of Rancho Cordova,” said Mayor Donald Terry. “It has been a long-time dream of our community to have a place that supports our youth. Thanks to our city’s $8 million investment and our partners, this dream has come true, and we look forward to seeing how our youth shine at the new youth center.”
The community celebration features a grand opening ceremony, tours of the new center and sports fields, fun writing and sports activities, dinner from local food trucks, music, and more. Parking will be available adjacent to the RCYC, and the event will be held indoors and outdoors, rain or shine. RSVP by Thursday, October 27, 2022, at CityofRanchoCordova.org/YouthCenter.
RCYC programming will begin mid-November with a focus on mentorship, academic support and sports activities.
