RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) – Kids and adults got their share of spooks and frights at this year’s Halloween at Hagan festivity. The Cordova Recreation and Park District (CRPD) held their annual event this year on the evening of Saturday, October 29, and was it spooky or what!

CRPD director Rick Sloan reported about 1000 kids coming out to the “biggest and best Halloween at Hagan ever.”

The youngsters as well as the adults went all out dressed in their best Halloween outfits and enjoyed the spooky festivities with community members and family!

Sloan said, “There were a number of fun activities designed to keep kids of all ages interested, including a zombie run, a crazy science guy, and a floating jack-o-lantern net catching game in the small pool area.”

Various local nonprofits also staged their own haunted trunks and passed out plenty of candy at the free Trunk or Treat held in conjunction with the event at the parking lot at 2197 Chase Drive.

The folks at CRPD said they can’t wait to see how they make it even better next year, and it’s a good bet it will be! CRPD thanked all who attended, supported and sponsored this year’s event.
