Community Invited to Economic Development Strategic Plan Meeting

RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - The City of Rancho Cordova is working on a three-year Economic Development Strategic Plan to guide the city’s economic growth. To ensure the plan reflects the needs and goals of the community, the city is inviting residents, business owners and local leaders to attend a meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26 at Rancho Cordova City Hall.

At this meeting, the city will present data findings and proposed strategies for the plan. Attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback and share their ideas on how to foster sustainable and inclusive economic growth in Rancho Cordova.

The plan is being developed with the help of TIP Strategies, Inc., an Austin, Texas-based consulting firm. The Steering Committee includes representatives from the Greater Sacramento Economic Council, SMUD, Tri Tool Technologies, Elliot Homes, Rancho Cordova Area Chamber of Commerce, local businesses and various city departments. The committee is working to create a plan that supports business development, job growth and economic prosperity.

Community input is essential to the success of the plan. By attending the meeting, you can contribute to shaping Rancho Cordova’s economic future and ensure that the plan benefits everyone in the community.

The Aug. 26 Economic Development Strategic Plan community meeting will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Rancho Cordova City Hall, 2729 Prospect Park Drive.
