KP International Market to Host K-Pop Concert

RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - Ever heard of K-pop?

Korean pop, popularly known as K-pop, is a global sensation. Originating in South Korea, K-pop is known for its intricate choreography, wide range of influences and striking visuals.

K-pop fans will be thrilled to hear there will be a free concert on Saturday, Oct. 12 in the KP International Market parking lot.

From 3 to 4:40 p.m. Oct. 12, the boy group BE:MAX and solo artist Beom Han will each perform a concert in the parking lot of KP International Market, 10971 Olson Drive, Rancho Cordova. Free admission will begin at 1 p.m.

“Admission is free as part of our initiative to celebrate and promote Rancho Cordova as a vibrant multicultural community,” said Jungmin Cho, administrative director of KP International Market. “It will be a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together.”

BE:MAX, according to reports, is a five-member boy group who released their debut single “Down Down” on July 30.

Beom Han made his solo debut in 2024 after being a part of a boy group. His debut single “Me Myself & I” was released Jan. 31.

According to Cho, this will be the first K-pop boy group concert held in Rancho Cordova.
