Cordova High School Wins Rights for First Harry Potter Production in California

RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - Magic is in the air at Cordova High School as the Drama Department is proud to announce that they have been awarded the rights to the first high school production of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” in California.

This landmark production will take the stage at 7 p.m. Oct. 25 and Oct. 26 in the school’s Performing Arts Center.

The tale follows Harry Potter, now a dedicated employee at the Ministry of Magic, and his son, Albus, as they navigate the complexities of family and legacy within the enchanting world of Hogwarts. Audiences are sure to be captivated by the breathtaking performances and stunning visual effects crafted by the talented students of Cordova High.

“This is an extraordinary honor for our drama department,” said Amanda Boyce, director of the production. “We are thrilled to be the first in California to share this incredible story with our community.
