SF Market Opens with Grand Celebration

RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - Shun Fat Supermarket, an Asian grocery store, opened its newest location in Rancho Cordova, Nov. 15.
The grand opening, held at 2738 Sunrise Blvd. in the former Sam’s Club building, drew large crowds eager to experience the supermarket’s new products.
The event kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by city officials and local business leaders, followed by a lively dragon dance performance, which is a traditional symbol of good luck and prosperity in many Asian cultures. The festivities also included live music, product demonstrations and special giveaways.
The celebrations continued through Nov. 17, with shoppers enjoying free gifts and special promotions. The first 300 customers each day received a complimentary 10-pound bag of jasmine rice. In addition, customers could receive a gift with their purchases that included a free Zero Degree Lemon Green Tea when spending $25, a free Vina Café Chat or Cholimex Superhit Chili Sauce when spending $50 or a free 10-pound bag of rice when spending $100.

Shun Fat Supermarket is known for its extensive selection of imported grocery items offering a diverse selection of products from around the globe, including China, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines and Mexico. The Rancho Cordova location is part of the supermarket chain’s expansion across California, Nevada, Oregon and Texas, with a total of 18 stores in operation.
