The Blue Angels are known for their precision flying and breathtaking aerobatics. As the last performance of the day, a demonstration of quick rolls, slow rolls, high-speed passes and extremely tight twists set a high note for the event. This was their first year back performing at the Mather Airport for the Capital Airshow since the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year’s airshow featured a stellar lineup of other performances that left audiences in awe. Other highlights included the U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II, U.S. Air Force F-16 Viper, Tucker’s Air Patrol and vintage World War II aircraft.
