One of Rancho Cordova’s hidden gems, the Anatolia Preserve Trail winds through open space between the Kavala Ranch and Anatolia neighborhoods. This time of year, is especially magical, with lush green landscapes, grazing cows and a variety of bird species to spot along the way.
As more people take to the trails and streets on two wheels, Rancho Cordova is working to make biking even better. Through the Active Transportation Plan (ATP), the city is looking at ways to improve bike paths, add safer crossings, and create better connections between neighborhoods and key destinations such as the Barrel District.
